Benefits

What opportunities does the study present?

The TrueLevel Study has the potential to have a significant, positive impact on public and personal health in rural communities by supporting cutting-edge HIV research.

  • Easier monitoring – We hope to make self-administered viral load monitoring accessible. This means people living with HIV can privately and conveniently monitor their own viral loads.
  • A healthier community – When people living with HIV monitor their viral load, they know how well their treatment plan is working, so their doctor can make changes if needed. Ongoing HIV treatment helps support overall health and well-being.
  • Reduced transmission of HIV – By helping people living with HIV track their viral loads regularly, we can decrease the likelihood of transmission. People who are treated for HIV are less likely to transmit HIV.

What benefits do I gain from participating in the TrueLevel Study?

  • $75 gift card for participating –  After you ship your blood sample, we’ll send you a short follow-up survey. Once you complete the survey and your sample is processed by the lab, you'll receive easy instructions to claim your $75 VISA Gift Card.
  • $25 gift card for referrals – You can refer up to 2 people to the TrueLevel Study. Once they ship their blood sample and it is processed by the lab, you'll receive easy instructions to claim a $25 VISA Gift Card for each referral. Offer available while supplies last.
